Do you have a back up plan if the lights go out?

What if your favorite hang out or forum suddenly disappears?? Even just for an afternoon; what if you need help in that span of time?

The only reason I thought of this is because one of the forums I regularly hang out in went down for half a day.
I felt kind of lost and I thought what would we do if something like that happened and it turned out to be permanent…

OR what if I urgently need to get in contact with one of the members during the outage?…

Or what if I have a question that needs immediate attention?…

OR what if I just want to know what’s going on?

So I thought it would be a great idea to have a back up plan. A second place for everyone to meet in case something does happen.
The forum I’m referencing has a membership around 600. So it is definitly something that could be needed I thought…

Turns out other forum members agree!

I suggested this in the forum when it was back up and it was embraced as a good idea…
I suggested to put my forum in their favorites just in case there is a future problem.
